Literary Genre Sort

Knowledge of literary genres and subgenres is a tested skill on common core and state assessments. From grade 3 on, teachers redundantly review fiction, nonfiction, and the subsets and elements of each.
We made literary genres into a student favorite:  the sort!
Students love this genre sort!

We adapted this sort from the cut-and-paste to color-coding. This is a great alternative when dealing with time constraints.
